The short version

uShop does not have accounts, does not ask you to register, and does not collect personal information from you unless you choose to send it by email.

What is collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting records ordinary technical information when a page is served — the page requested, the time, a browser identifier and an IP address. It is used to keep the site working and to spot abuse.

When you follow an affiliate link

Affiliate links include identifiers used by the retailer or affiliate network to attribute referrals and commission. The linked retailer, provider or network applies its own privacy policy and may use its own tracking technologies. We do not handle your checkout details or payment.

If you email us

We keep the message so we can answer it, and no longer than is useful.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact route above and we will act on it.

Optional site measurement

Optional measurement is off until you choose “Allow optional measurement” in the footer. If enabled, we store daily totals for page views, visible offer buttons, outbound product clicks, browser error counts and page-speed ratings, grouped by page, product, button location and viewport size. These totals contain no visitor or session identifiers, IP addresses, error messages, referrers or search queries. They are removed after 30 days. Your yes/no preference is stored locally on your device. You can switch measurement off in the footer at any time; Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control also disable it. Ordinary hosting logs described above are separate.
